Update your name, photo, and profile
Your profile is how the rest of the family sees you - on events, on list items, in the members list.
Edit your profile
Section titled “Edit your profile”-
Web: click your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open Preferences. Mobile: open Settings from the menu. Your profile card is at the top of both.
-
Choose Edit.
-
Change what needs changing and save. Everyone in the family sees the update immediately.
What you can change
Section titled “What you can change”- Display name - how you appear across the app. First name is plenty.
- Photo - upload a picture (JPEG, PNG, or WebP, up to 10 MB). No photo? Your initials show on your color instead.
- Color - your color from the family palette. It marks your events and assignments everywhere, so pick one nobody else is using.
- Birthday - add it and Quok puts your birthday on the family calendar every year, automatically. (Birthdays & anniversaries)
- Relationship - mother, father, partner, and so on. Optional, and mostly for clarity in bigger families.
Organizers and adults can edit any member’s profile the same way from the Members page - that’s also how kid profiles are managed, since kids don’t sign in. (Manage a child profile)
Language & region
Section titled “Language & region”On the web, Preferences → App has a Language & region section - Quok currently speaks English and Polish, with a locale choice for date and time formats. The mobile app follows your device’s language settings automatically.
What about my email address?
Section titled “What about my email address?”Your email is your identity in Quok - it’s how sign-in works - so there’s no self-serve way to change it yet. If you need to move your account to a new address, contact support and we’ll sort it out.
