Edit, reschedule, or delete an event
Plans change. Here’s how to keep the calendar honest.
Who can edit what
Section titled “Who can edit what”Organizers and adults can edit or delete any family event. Kids can edit events they created themselves; providers can update events they’re assigned to. If you can’t edit something, that’s the role system doing its job - ask an adult in the family. (Roles and permissions)
Edit or reschedule
Section titled “Edit or reschedule”Open the event from the calendar and choose Edit. Change whatever needs changing - time, title, location, who’s assigned - and save. To reschedule, simply set the new start time. Everyone’s calendar updates immediately.
Delete
Section titled “Delete”Open the event and choose Delete. It disappears from the whole family’s calendar.
Repeating events: this one, or all of them?
Section titled “Repeating events: this one, or all of them?”When you edit or delete an event that repeats, Quok asks how far the change should reach:

| This event | Changes only this occurrence. Next Tuesday’s swim moves; every other Tuesday stays put. |
| This and future events | Changes this occurrence and everything after it. Past occurrences are untouched - perfect for “practice moves to Thursdays from now on”. |
| All events | Changes the entire series, past and future. |
The same three choices appear when deleting, so you can cancel one session without wiping the whole series.
Events you can’t edit directly
Section titled “Events you can’t edit directly”Birthdays and anniversaries that Quok manages for you are edited at the source: the member’s profile (for birthdays) or the family’s anniversaries (for anniversaries). Change the date there and the calendar follows.
Two people edited at once?
Section titled “Two people edited at once?”If someone else changed the event while your edit was in flight, the most recent save wins and every device converges on the same version. Nothing gets duplicated or half-applied.
